How camera-based practice works
Selected activities use your device camera to recognise body positioning and movement while you practise, then give feedback based on the rules Provent has configured for that exercise.
- 1Learning content and instructor demonstration
- 2Practical exercise introduction and safety notice
- 3Camera permission and device check
- 4Camera calibration with a full-body guide
- 5Practice mode with real-time feedback
- 6Assessment mode where required
- 7Result saved and course progress updated
- 8Camera stopped and resources released
Privacy first
Your camera is used during the activity to recognise body positioning and movement. Unless an activity specifically states otherwise, Provent does not record or save your camera video. Only learning data such as attempt, completion, result and duration is stored.
People decide competency
Movement tracking is a measurement layer only. Provent's approved rules define the requirements, and where formal competency requires professional review, a qualified reviewer makes the final decision.
Alternatives always available
Where an alternative assessment is configured, you can complete the activity without a camera. Device limitations or accessibility needs are never treated as learner failure.
